Every plant at Starehe Manor earns its place. The farm at the lake edge feeds the kitchen. The kitchen feeds the guests. The edible forest feeds the story. Nothing was cleared that did not need to be — the buildings sit in existing clearings and the forest wraps around them like a wall no architect could design. This is not landscaping. This is agriculture with a view.

Zone C · The heart of the World Village
In the heart of Zone C — between the seven cottages — stands a freestanding stone wall. Dark local stone render. Brass name plates for Co-Builders. The names of everyone who believed in Starehe Manor before the first wall was built. It will stand for as long as Starehe Manor stands.
Zone D
At the very top of the 3.5 acres, above the seven cottages, above the farm, above the forest — the infinity pool faces Nam Lolwe. On a clear day you can see Rusinga Island. On every day you can see why this hill was always going to become something.
